She told MailOnline: 'They have mutual friends.
I don't know exactly how they met but I'm fine with it. If she's happy, we are happy.'
Romance blossomed a year after Helen McCrory, Lewis' wife of 14 years, tragically passed away after a secret battle with breast cancer.
When McCrory died in April 2021, Lewis revealed how his late wife had urged him to find love again, telling him and their son and daughter that she wanted 'Daddy to have lots of girlfriends.'
While Lewis appears to be happily in love, he was recently mocked on social media for his toe-curling rendition of the national anthem at the British Grand Prix.
The actor, who released his debut album Mission Creep in June, was blasted for trying to impersonate Elvis during his performance on the Silverstone grid on July 9.
Lewis performed with his band live in the paddock and later sang the national anthem alongside a saxophonist.
Social media soon erupted with comments about the unique way that Lewis was singing God Save The King, with one brutally posting that he had simply 'butchered' it.
Ahead of his performance, the actor-turned-singer said: 'Never in a million years did I think I'd be singing the national anthem or playing a gig with my band at the British Grand Prix.

After releasing his debut album, Lewis admitted he's still scarred from his teenage attempts at music-making with pals at Eton College.
He said: 'I remember a school assembly where they played one of our songs over the tannoy.
'A good friend of mine cackled so loudly, so ceaselessly throughout the song that everyone else started laughing as well and I just sat there, in the middle of the audience, stuck in some dystopic nightmare.
It rocked me, actually.'
